Ceramic fiber is a type of refractory material that comprise an alumina-silica composition, held together by an inorganic binder. Its lightweight and low-density properties make it ideal for high temperature applications requiring low thermal mass. Ceramic fiber products can withstand very high temperatures and corrosive environments.
Ceramic Fiber has smooth surface, pure white color, well-defined size, and refractory & insulation properties. The working temperature ranges from AMB. to 1649 ℃.
Application:
Mostly used as a thermal and electrical insulation in electrical and induction furnace.
As the insulation has a great acoustic property therefor is suitable to use in thin and light layers such as car body.
Based on its shock resistance usually used in equipment with extreme temperature spot such as car brake.
